CLIENT FOLLOW-UP

A clear follow-up starts with a checked record.

The best follow-up reflects what the client actually said and what both sides agreed to do. Keystone helps you review the meeting, draft the recap and keep every commitment visible.

What should a client follow-up include?

Keep it brief and concrete: thank the client, recap the purpose of the meeting, list the agreed next steps with owners and dates where known, and say when you will reconnect. If a recommendation or document still needs review, make that status clear rather than presenting it as final.

  • What was discussed and agreed
  • What the adviser will prepare or send
  • What information the client will provide
  • When the next call or review will happen
FICTIONAL EXAMPLE

A simple follow-up draft

Hi Maya, thank you for meeting today. We discussed how your budget has changed and the need to compare options that fit your current priorities. I’ll prepare the comparison we agreed on and send it for your review. Once you’ve had time to look through it, we can arrange a call next week to discuss your questions.

Best,
Your adviser

Check every detail, timing and proposed action before using a draft with a real client.

How Keystone handles the work

  1. Review the meeting brief. Check key details against the linked transcript turns.
  2. Edit the follow-up. Use a draft recap, adviser note or task checklist and adjust the language yourself.
  3. Keep actions in view. Follow-ups and commitments stay connected to the client record and dashboard.
  4. Choose what to share. Keystone can prepare a Gmail draft for your approval; it does not send the message automatically.

Make the next meeting easier

When the promised comparison, client question and next call live in the same workspace, preparation starts with the current relationship record. Keystone’s pre-meeting view brings forward earlier discussion, unresolved objections and open commitments, so you can pick up where you left off.

Be in the meeting. Keep the important details afterwards.
